About the Role
Agrellus is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Proving Ground Field Specialist to support the execution of our cutting-edge Proving Ground protocols across strategic agricultural test sites. This role is integral to ensuring that field trial operations are carried out with precision, consistency, and in alignment with Proving Ground’s crop trial methodologies. As a Proving Ground Field Specialist, you will work closely with our agronomic teams, growers, and technology partners to establish and manage high-quality trials that deliver actionable data and insights.
This position requires an understanding of agronomy, field research methods, and data collection standards. You will be responsible for implementing protocols of diverse products and ensuring trial integrity. Your work will directly impact Agrellus’ mission to bring transparency, efficiency, and data-driven solutions to the agricultural marketplace.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Execute Proving Ground Trial Protocols assigned to you.
Communicate with Protocol Management and Project Management regarding trial updates, needs, farm information, etc.
Conduct sampling, included but not limited to: soil, tissue, forage, microbiometer, etc.
Conduct and collect both quantitative and qualitative in field information as the protocol requires.
Follow all technology requirements including utilization of software, testing materials, etc.
Manage relationships with Farm Leaders throughout the duration of the trial.
Qualifications
1+ years in an agronomy related position.
Basic understanding of field trial management.
Basic understanding of field trial data collection practices.
Understanding of agronomic products including seed, fertilizers, biologicals, ag-technology, and their implementations.
Existing relationships with growers.
Existing relationships with manufacturers or retailers is a plus.
